Record Class IntervalJoinNode

java.lang.Object
java.lang.Record
com.darkcollective.relix.ast.IntervalJoinNode
Record Components:
left - the left relation; must not be null
right - the right relation; must not be null
relation - the Allen interval relation to test; must not be null
leftStart - the name of the left interval's start column
leftEnd - the name of the left interval's end column
rightStart - the name of the right interval's start column
rightEnd - the name of the right interval's end column
location - the source location of this node; never null
All Implemented Interfaces:
RelNode

public record IntervalJoinNode(RelNode left, RelNode right, AllenRelation relation, String leftStart, String leftEnd, String rightStart, String rightEnd, SourceLocation location) extends Record implements RelNode
Interval join (IJOIN) — a temporal join over two interval-valued relations using an Allen's interval algebra relation.

For each pair of rows (ℓ, r) whose interval columns satisfy the chosen AllenRelation, the join emits the concatenation of the two rows. This is always an inner join (unmatched rows are dropped). The four endpoint columns are specified by name; all must be temporal (DATE, TIME, or TIMESTAMP).

Example: Stays IJOIN OVERLAPS (Stays.checkin, Stays.checkout, Bookings.from, Bookings.to) Bookings

      accept in interface RelNode
    • toString

      public final String toString()
      Returns a string representation of this record class. The representation contains the name of the class, followed by the name and value of each of the record components.

    • equals

      public final boolean equals(Object o)
      Indicates whether some other object is "equal to" this one. The objects are equal if the other object is of the same class and if all the record components are equal. All components in this record class are compared with Objects::equals(Object,Object).
      Specified by:
      equals in class Record
      Parameters:
      o - the object with which to compare
      Returns:
      true if this object is the same as the o argument; false otherwise.
